By all means please do not use any kinds of glue to repair your dentures. While it may be the most inexpensive solution, different solvents in the different kinds of glues are poisonous and could warp your dentures preventing you from wearing them again.
- Worn down holes in your denture :
If your dentures have areas that are worn down holes, in many cases this is because parts of your mouth structure has changed where you really should see a dentist to find out the causes of this. Holes in this nature should not be filled in because it changes the structure of the denture and if filled in may make it uncomfortabl wearing.
- Holes where implants once were :
If you have other holes on your denture, such as where implants once were on your denture but are no longer in your mouth, then sealing these holes can be done because it is not changing the structure of the denture. It is very important to understand that during any denture repair that the structure of the denture does not change.
- Did you ever use glue on your broken area ?
There is a minimum fee involved to remove the glue from dentures. Perhaps you tried to repair your denture yourself at one time thinking that if you buy some glue, the strong stuff you can get away with paying too much money to repair your denture. Now the repair broke again, and you now realize the glue doesn't work well on dentures. Please in the future avoid the use of any glue because you are poisoning yourself for serious health issues later in life.
